Aspen Springs Farm, owned and managed by Tricia and Doug Aspen, is located
in beautiful west central Wisconsin. We raise quality family Morgans,
Arabians and Morabs. Our sons are grown now, but horses remain a
family affair.
Tricia's first love is Arabians, but her fondest childhood memories were of
a pony-sized Morgan that her parents trusted with her life. Doug grew up
with working Belgians. When we married and decided we wanted horses, we
needed a riding horse that could drive. The search was on for a Morgan.
Doug quickly educated himself on Morgans and found Maggie, a typy bay,
who became our favorite family horse.
After a long search we found Ellie, a nearly perfect match to Maggie.
They became the ideal driving team for our family. During our search for a
match to Maggie, we also found Max, a stylish Morgan stallion who became our
first breeding sire.
In addition to our Morgans, we also have beautiful Arabians. Exquisite
black mares and a Straight Egyptian grey mare rounds out our brood mare band.
These girls have sweet and dependable dispositions, as we'd expect. We've raised, trained, shown, and
sold many Arabians, letting the world know that the "in your tent" type
Arabians still exist!
