Photo Album of our Foals

Here are some of our babies!

Foals we have raised have grown up to be exceptional horses.  We are proud of our sporty athletes.  Most of the foals shown here belong to other owners now, and we enjoy following the progress of each and every one of our "babies.

Desert Elegance ASF
(Shalimaar Shirah x DCA Aprils Elegence)

This 2000 filly was evaluated by Hilda Gurney for dressage suitability at nine days old and got a big thumbs up!

Solar Power ASF
(Finally's Mr Andy x DCA April's Elegence)

"Rex" may very well grow to be the nicest buckskin performance Morgan in the U.S. or Canada.  Rex is a uniquely colored sport horse living in B.C., Canada.  His new owner and her trainer are already impressed with his unique look and pleasant disposition.  At his first Class A Morgan show, he won his Novice Western Pleasure with Lori, placed 3rd in the Jr Horse Western, took 2nd out of 14 in the Amateur Western Pleasure and finally WON the Jr Horse Western Pleasure Championship!

Aspen Springs Cole

The black '98 Morab gelding out of our black Arabian mare JS Velieka and the black Morgan stallion Spring Hills KCL. "Cole" is an exceptional sport horse and loves learning dressage.  He began his high school career in 2005 with his new partner in Chicago.

Blue Elegance ASF
(RLink to Blue x DCA April's Elegence)

The bay '97 Morab mare, "Bea," is a true athlete. She has what it takes to compete in the Half-Arabian circuit: size, beauty, and disposition. She's done well in halter and hunt-seat with her owner, also of Colfax.

Outta the Blue
(RLink to Blue x Mei Sparkle n Gleam)

Oh so special!  "Miko" has made headlines in dressage showing at FEI Intermediaire.  His owner, Lisa, has advanced rapidly with her dream horse. We are so proud of him and love progress reports.

We can't show enough pictures of Miko. He has matured into a world class dressage competitor.

A Striking Viking ASF
(Donjil Viking Elite  x DCA Aprils Elegence )

This gorgeous Chestnut Morgan gelding is Max's last son. He rides in Chicago with his owner.

Fire Belle ASF
(DBA FireFahl x SDA Black Charm)

This is our very special black Arabian who will live with us forever as a broodmare.  She is every bit the doll you see here.  Belle is French for "beautiful," and she is appropriately named! Injured as a yearling, she has captured our hearts with her patience and will to survive, and she is a wonderful mama.

A Viking Charm ASF
(Donjil Viking Elite x SDA Black Charm)

This beautiful mare was Max's very last.  "Vikki" has such potential as a performance horse as well as a broodmare that we know she is fulfilling her true destiny, wherever she is.  She's a '99 liver chestnut, flaxen Morab.

Blaur Glantz ASF
(RLink to Blue x Mei Sparkle n Gleam)

Named by our German exchange student, his Chicago owner calls him "Baylo."  His trainer proclaims that he can "canter in a teacup."  He is a magnificant horse, a true gentleman, and such a joy to his family.

Kay n Bee Gleam Elite
(Donjil Viking Elite x Mei Sparkle n Gleam)

"KB" racks up the dressage scores, placing her with the top USDF Morgans in the state and nation at Training level with her young owner, a PhD student in NY.

Asmar Arabica
(RLink to Blue x JS Velieka)

"Ozzie" makes us proud as he continues to grow and improve with his young partner.  Here they are after winning the 2004 Wisconsin 4-H District Reserve Championship in English Pleasure Equitation, right before they won Championship in English Pleasure.

Aspen Springs Regent
(Glories Edge Calinar x Dora, Percheron)

"Reggie" is the result of a successful experiment with our Morgan stallion and our Percheron mare, one repeated with his full sister still at home.  He is a mild-mannered June 2004 baby with extreme athleticism. Handsome and black, he is a dressage and jumping prospect for his soul mate and partner in Colfax.
